Description
Description
A 100% undyed Himalayan cashmere V-neck sweater, hand-combed from Chyangra (Changthangi) goats and knitted by artisans in Nepal — NPIA-certified for authenticity. Left in its natural colour, with no added dyes or bleaches. An everyday layer that frames a collar cleanly.
The Sharpest Tool in Your Wardrobe.
The Lumusae V-Neck is the cornerstone of the modern professional’s rotation. While the crewneck is a casual staple, the V-Neck is the boardroom standard—designed to partner with your dress shirts, not just cover them up.
The "Boardroom" Cut
We didn't just guess the neckline; we calibrated it. Unlike trending deep V-necks that look sloppy, the Executive V-Neck is cut high and precise. It is engineered to frame a button-down collar and a Windsor knot perfectly, creating a structured, professional silhouette that commands respect.
Soft at the Neck
Our 100% Undyed Cashmere is left in its natural, undyed state and retains its natural lanolin oils. The result? A soft against the skin layer that feels smooth and comfortable.
Why It’s Essential:
- The "Layering" Fit: Engineered to slide into a blazer sleeve without bunching. It provides warmth without the bulk, making it perfect for temperature-controlled offices.
- The Perfect Frame: Designed to showcase your tie, not hide it, with refined 12-gauge ribbing at the neck.
- Naturally Undyed: No dyes. No bleaches. Just the honest, natural color of the Himalayan Chyangra goat.
- Polished Durability: A tight, smooth knit with a polished, refined drape.

Who it’s for
The undyed V-neck, for the man who wears shirts underneath and wants no dye in the fibre touching him.
When to use it
- Over shirts, where the collar does the work
- Offices that expect a collar but not a jacket
- Pairing with the undyed crew so the two work as a set
- Weight: Feather-light ~200 grams The ~200g weight delivers impressive warmth with remarkable lightness—substantial enough to provide cozy insulation, yet so light you'll forget you're wearing it.
- Softness: Ultra-fine 16-micron fibers 16-micron fibers are exceptionally rare and luxurious, creating an extraordinarily soft feel against your skin (for comparison, human hair is about 75 microns). Each wear feels like being embraced by a gentle cloud.
Perfect for: Layering in transitional seasons, crisp autumn days, cool summer evenings, and travel where lightweight versatility is essential. Ideal for anyone seeking cloud-like softness with effortless comfort in a sweater that's your go-to for year-round wear.

Cashmere is a fine animal hair, not a hard-wearing wool. It responds to cool water and gentle handling, and almost all damage comes from heat and agitation rather than from wearing it. Treated properly, a piece lasts years rather than seasons.

How do I wash cashmere?
By hand is best. Fill a basin with cool water — no warmer than about 30°C / 86°F — and add a capful of a mild wool or cashmere detergent. Submerge the piece and press it gently under the water for two or three minutes. Do not rub, wring or twist. Rinse in cool water of the same temperature until the water runs clear.
By machine, only if the cycle is genuinely gentle. A wool or delicate cycle works if it stays cool and spins slowly. Turn the piece inside out, put it in a mesh laundry bag, and use a low or no spin setting.
The one thing to avoid is thermal shock. Hot water, a sudden change in temperature, or vigorous agitation causes the fibres to lock together permanently. That is felting, and it cannot be reversed. For the same reason, skip bleach, fabric softener and the tumble dryer.
How do I dry cashmere?
Press the water out between two towels rather than wringing. Reshape the piece while it is damp, then lay it flat on a dry towel away from radiators, direct heat and strong sunlight. Never hang a wet knit — the weight of the water pulls the shoulders and body out of shape as it dries.
Why is my cashmere pilling, and how do I fix it?
Pilling is friction, not a fault or a sign of poor quality. It appears wherever the garment rubs against something — under the arms, along a seatbelt, where a bag strap sits. It is most noticeable in the first few wears and settles down after that.
Lay the piece flat and remove pills with a cashmere comb or a fabric shaver, working lightly in one direction. Do not pull them off by hand, which drags the surrounding fibres.
How should I store cashmere?
Fold it; never hang it. Hanging stretches the shoulders over time.
Always store it clean. Moths are drawn to skin oils, perspiration and food traces rather than to the fibre itself, so a piece put away unwashed is far more vulnerable than a clean one. Use a breathable cotton bag with cedar or lavender, and avoid airtight plastic, which traps moisture.
Do I need to wash it after every wear?
No, and you shouldn't. Cashmere benefits from resting between wears — give it a day to recover its shape. Airing it usually does more than washing, and a small mark is better spot-cleaned than put through a full wash.
Is dry cleaning safe?
Yes, and it is a good option for structured pieces or stubborn marks. Choose a cleaner who handles cashmere regularly. Most pieces do not need it often; hand washing at home is gentler and perfectly adequate for routine care.
Care for shawls and wraps
Handwoven shawls are finer than knitwear and prefer hand washing. Do not iron directly on the fabric — if a piece needs pressing, use a cool iron under a cloth, or hang it in a steamy bathroom and let the creases drop out. Fringes can be combed straight with your fingers while damp.

The undyed cashmere V-neck is beautifully made and the natural tone is sophisticated and versatile. My only note is it runs a touch large — I'd suggest sizing down if you prefer a fitted professional look. The cashmere quality is excellent and the V-neck sits at a great depth.
The quality of undyed cashmere in this V-neck is something special. The fibre hasn't been chemically treated so it retains its natural character — softer and more organic than anything dyed. The V-neck cut is precise and flattering. I recommend it to everyone I know in professional environments.
I've been wearing luxury knitwear for years and this is one of the best undyed pieces I've found. The fibre quality is exceptional and the V-neck construction is meticulous — the neck sits perfectly and the body drapes beautifully. Worth every pound and then some.
The V-neck depth here is exactly right for professional layering and the undyed cashmere is wonderfully soft. My minor feedback is I'd love to see more colour options — a deep navy undyed or a warmer brown tone would be brilliant additions. What's available is excellent.
Everything about this sweater is exactly right. The natural undyed colour has a sophistication that instantly elevates any outfit. The V-neck depth is perfect for business casual — clean and professional. The cashmere is genuinely fine and soft. I've ordered a second colour already.
