Our fibers are carefully hand-combed during the natural molting season, never sheared. Each of our handmade garments is made from natural fiber rather than synthetic blends, so it sheds no plastic microfibres in the wash. The fibre is 100% Chyangra cashmere at roughly 16 microns, with no blends and no fillers.

Can I order on this website instead of Faire?
Yes. Once we approve your shop we open a wholesale account for you. Sign in and every price on the site becomes your wholesale price, with the retail price shown beside it so your margin is clear. You can still order on Faire if you prefer — the prices are the same either way.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Our wholesale minimum is $150 per order — the same minimum we run on Faire. Use the inquiry form to tell us the styles and volumes you have in mind.
How does wholesale pricing work?
Wholesale is priced at 50% or more off our published retail prices — keystone margin or better. Those retail prices are live across the whole catalogue, so you can work out your landed cost and your margin before you even contact us. The discount improves as order value and mix grow. Send the inquiry form with the styles and quantities you have in mind and we’ll send a full rate sheet within 24 hours.
How long does a wholesale order take?
Direct wholesale orders are made to order by our artisans in Nepal and typically arrive within 2–4 weeks of confirmation. Orders placed through Faire ship against available stock — see our Faire shop for current delivery dates.
Can I order samples before committing?
Yes. We offer paid samples so you can assess the fibre, knit and finish first-hand before placing a full order. Request samples through the inquiry form. Full garment measurements for every style are in our size guide.
Do you offer private label?
Yes. We produce private-label cashmere for boutiques and independent brands in our own workshop in Kathmandu, so there is no third-party factory in the chain. Private-label orders carry their own minimum and lead time — both longer than our standard terms, because custom labelling and packaging add a setup step. Tell us the styles, quantities, colourway and how you want the pieces labelled, and we’ll come back within 24 hours with a minimum, a lead time and a rate sheet. Paid samples are available before you commit.
Are your products certified authentic?
Every Lumusae piece is 100% Himalayan cashmere — 16-micron Grade A fibre, hand-combed from Chyangra (Changthangi) goats and handcrafted by artisans in our Kathmandu workshop. No blends, no fillers. Every piece carries a certificate you can verify online.
Where do you ship wholesale orders?
We ship wholesale orders worldwide by express courier, direct from our workshop in Nepal. Orders to the USA, Canada, Australia and the UK ship DDP — we cover all customs duties and import taxes, so there is nothing to pay on delivery. Orders to all other countries ship DDU, with duties payable by the retailer on arrival. See our shipping policy for full details.
Can I stock undyed cashmere wholesale?
Yes. Alongside our dyed range we keep a dedicated undyed line — cashmere left in the fibre’s own natural colour, with no dyeing or bleaching step, in the goats’ own ivory, oat, fawn and grey tones. It is the part of the range boutiques most often stock as a point of difference, because almost no finished-garment wholesaler offers it.
