About Me

Namaste! I'm Shivani Ranjit, the founder of Lumusae, born and raised in the vibrant city of Kathmandu, Nepal. Growing up in the shadow of the majestic Himalayas, I've always been inspired by the rich cultural heritage and natural beauty of my homeland.

 

My Journey

From a young age, I was fascinated by the intricate art of pashmina weaving, a craft that has been part of Nepali tradition for centuries. I would watch in awe as skilled artisans transformed delicate Himalayan goat wool into luxurious shawls and scarves.

Birth of Lumusae

In 2024, I founded Lumusae aiming to flourish while upholding ethical practices and supporting local communities.
